I had my coffee black.
Usually I would have it sweeten with honey and milk.
But tonight,
It just didn't taste good sweet.
Ordinarily,
My coffee would be that way because it brightens my view of the world,
But tonight,
It tasted wrong,
Tonight,
I feel too bitter,
Too sour and dark,
So out of tune that if you stole candy out of my mouth,
It would be bitter.
I'm posting this in this tiny corner of your blog where nobody will see it, possibly not even you. I wish I could have been there before. I hope I can be there now. I will be there in ten years. and I will serve you some delicious coffee that I hope won't taste bitter.
