There once was a boy named Timmy who loved to smash bugs and drown helpless creatures. Every night he would fall asleep smiling, dreaming of their screams and pleading cries.
Late one morning, a worm plopped itself into Timmy's soup. disgusted, Timmy wanted to throw the wiggling worm into a cup full of ice pieces, but before he was able to attempt his malicious deed, the worm shot itself out of Timmy's favorite soup and onto the table. The boy watched the worm wrap itself around the leg of the table, slither down and away.
Timmy sat in class drawing worms as little one-line-stringy-things all over his math assignment. 'If I was a worm, I could do anything!' Timmy thought quietly to himself.
At night he wrote a letter to the tooth fairy asking her if she can turn him into a worm instead of giving him money for Harold's teeth, then went to sleep with hopes held high.
The boy woke up with something sandy and wet in his mouth. He heard the sun and the light pitter-patter of childrens' feet from above. He moved upwards. Up and up he went and the sounds became clearer. A sudden rush of warmth filled his body from top to bottom. Yes! He was happy. Never had he felt such ecstasy before! Then, pain. Timmy found himself staring at the wall in front of his bed. He had sweated buckets on his bed. Breathing fast and hard. He remembered a shoe.
